Frequently Asked Questions

Foam Mattress

Does this mattress require a box spring?

The mattress is recommended to be used on a platform bed frame, a bed frame with small slats separation distance (3-4 inches apart), or a box spring.
This recommendation will allow for the mattress to preserve the foam quality overtime and prevent sagging.

What is the weight capacity for this mattress?

Although there is no rated weight limit for mattresses, standard memory foam mattresses usually hold up to 250 lbs, in one spot, without damaging the quality of the foam.

How firm is the mattress?

The mattress is rated as medium-firm with a plush feeling from the memory foam.

Is this product CertiPUR certified?

Yes, this product is CertiPUR certified.

Do I need to return the mattress / parts that are being replaced?

No return required!

Does Olee Sleep offer a warranty?

The Limited Warranty is valid with the original purchase, by the original purchaser, of new products, not of any other condition, from authorized retailers and extends after the expiration date of the return window, offered by the authorized retailers, of the original product purchased.

How long can you mattresses stay in the box before they are “expired” and may not expand correctly?

The mattress may stay in the box for as long as you like, however, we do not recommend so as keeping the product compressed in a box will deteriorate the memory foam components overtime, causing the recovery phase to either be longer or become defective. When expanding, we recommend expanding/recovering the mattress in an extremely warm environment with strong airflow.

FAQ regarding Fiberglass

Do Olee Sleep mattress contain fire-resistant materials?

Yes, all of Olee Sleep mattresses contain fire-resistant materials, ensuring that all our customers are safe. The use of fire-resistant materials in mattresses follows a required industry-method to meet federal flammability standards for mattresses set by U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). This practice is designed to adhere to safety criteria and, more importantly, provide protection and safety for our consumers.

Does this mattress contain fiberglass material?

As of October 2020, all of Olee Sleep mattresses meet legal flammability standards and compliance with only the use of advanced woven acrylic fire barrier technology. This cutting-edge process allows glass fiber material to be encased inside acrylic fabric, resulting in enhanced safety, durability, and comfort.

What does Olee Sleep plan to do to transition away from fiberglass and meet the flammability standards?

While our current products meet flammability standards and do not pose safety concerns, this transition from fiberglass is driven by changing consumer preferences and market perceptions regarding fiberglass. Additionally, we are also committed to ensuring the highest customer satisfaction. Therefore, we are transitioning away from the use of fiberglass to a fabric-based barrier as our fire-resistant material in all of our mattresses.
